Some of our most abiding memories of childhood involve the telly. Whether it’s the first time you watched a tiny black and white screen built into a piece of furniture, or remembering the gloriously colourful vision that was the Magic Roundabout, TV holds a certain magic in all our memories.
The colour television, only started to take off in the late sixties, so many of our earlier memories on TV programmes are for shows in black and white. |
