This is an archive posting to explain the development of the web site so far. WWWK is in development at time of writing so there's not a lot of content around at the moment. 
But then, I haven't told anyone it's here yet so theorhetically I'm talking to myself. If you have happened to find this forum, you can easilly post by registering your email address (no, I won't be spamming you), it's just to stop people abusing the forum.
Anyway, so far most of the sub-sections of the site have frameworks in place to start adding content. I've got the links database working, and today, as you can see, the shinny new forum is live. 
Now, better get on and do some more work.

Just starting to understand now the scale of this project 
So far, we have a few Children's TV shows scattered around, a few biographies of famous politicians, some details added from 1940 - 1945 to cover off events in WW2, a start on a timeline for inventions, and about 800-ish links in the web resources directory.
Seems like a fair amount of articles doesn't it? Yet, have a look around the site and it's still looking pretty much empty anywhere you look!
This might take some time!

OK, we've now reached 250 articles with biographies starting to get added in the people section for musicians, a few more stories about popular inventions, the first culture reference to pre-decimalisation currency in the UK, and the site's still empty!!!
I could just opt for another form of therapy

It's been awhile since I posted an update here so here's some new stuff that's been added recently:
UK No' 1 Hit Singles Only done the 50's and the 60's so far, but the rest are coming.
Actor Biographies Half way the B in an alphabetical index, so lots more to do here too!
I've noticed a few people appearing in the forum lately so apologies for all the blind links around the site.... This is a big, BIG job

OK, update time again
Just completed loading up the first complete A-Z batch in the Actor Profiles section with listings for 387 mainly British actors and actresses. Going to work on another section for a while now before I return to this to tackle the Americans!
