Children's sci-fi cartoon - what was it?

I have memories of a cartoon that was on about teatime, possibly it was a segment in something like Magpie, the story involved something like a future ice age with hi-tech vehicles involved, I think one of the magazines like Look-In did press-out card models of some or one of the vehicles, does anybody remember anything like this as I can't find anyone else who does!
