You must remember Parma Violets, the little violet flavoured sweets that came wrapped in a self-made tube of sweets. They were hard and looked a bit like tablets.

The thing that's always puzzled me about Parma Violets is that without eating the flower, how would I know that they actually taste of violet? I mean, violet's either a colour or a flower isn't it... not a flavour?
