For those of us old enough to remember this tasty treat was what we used to call a Snickers Bar before its name was changed in 1990.

Ironically, the Snickers Bar came first as this is what it was called in America from when it was initially made in 1930. It's only us curmudgeonly Brits who didn't want our Marathon bars messing with!

Also, interestingly enough and proving that Mars actually know what they're doing, the bar moved from being Britain's ninth most popular bar to the third most popular after the name change.
